Mohit Bharatiya formerly known and Mohit Kamboj, is the fromer President of the Indian Bullion and Jewellery Association (IBJA). His social work consists of Ambulance service to provide medical assistance, free medical service, and he has set up foundation called Bharatiya foundation to serve the poor.
Career
Mohit Bharatiya contested for the Vidhan Sabha elections from the Dindoshi constituency in Maharashtra in 2014, in a losing effort. He was the richest candidate then as per Assets declared. Mohit Bharatiya changed his surname from Kamboj to Bharatiya, to relieve himself of any identities of a particular caste, creed, race, sex, religion etc.
Controversy
Mohit Bhartiya was captured in a picture, enjoying at a nightclub in Kamala Mills, with criminal Vishal Kariya, who was out on bail then.
