R. Tamil Selvan (Captain) is the first Tamil elected as MLA from Mumbai. His father Ramayya is a communist party supporter, while his brothers Mohan and Jeevanadam are members of AIADMK.
Career
He is nicknamed “Captain”. R. Tamil Selvan (Captain) was a Railway Parcel service contractor and a building contractor at the central Public Works Department (PWD). He was at CST on the night of 26/11 along with his team, and managed to save 35 injured people.
