Career
Pandurang Sakpal has worked with the Young Sports Club, Mauli Foundation, Akhil Saravjanik Ganeshotsav Mandal and served as the Executive President of the Mumbai Amateur Body Building Association.
Pandurang Sakpal also organized free medical eye camps, distributing over 1000 spectacles and provided free angiography operations to almost 150 patients. He distributed text and note books among the poor as well as helped them get admission in schools and colleges.

Controversy
Pandurang Sakpal has been accused by Shantaram Patil, a vada pav seller of harassment. He claimed that he was summoned to the Shiv Sena offices and has been threatened by Pandurang Sakpal, Shivaji Rahane and Shaka Pramukh to close his down his stall or his family would face the repercussions. He defended himself stating that he had asked Mr. Patil to move his stall as it was hampering the business of a stall established there 20 years prior, and he said he also offered to help Mr. Patil in any way possible to relocate his stall. However, Mr. Patil alleges that Mr. Rahane is threatening him as he had stopped paying donations to him.
Pandurang Sakpal and Shiv Sena workers protested against Pakistan and the PCB chairman, the Sena workers asked BCCI chief Shashank Manohar not to have any ties with the neighbouring country, which they said sponsors terrorism.
